Here are some 2026-2027 School Nutrition updates from Cafeteria Manager Gail Lloyd (gail.lloyd@gcpsk12.org).

The School Nutrition Back to School webpage includes information on meal prices, pre-payments, free and reduced-price meals, and accommodations for students with special medical needs.

Breakfast costs $1.75, and lunch costs $2.50 for elementary schools for students. Adults will pay the following prices: Breakfast, $3.00; Lunch, $4.75; Holiday Meals, $6.00. Menus and Snack Prices

Your children may qualify for free or reduced-price meals. Parents MUST fill out a new application (only one form per household) by September 15th for the 2026-27 school year in order to receive and maintain their Free or Reduced-Price meal benefits: Free And Reduced Lunch Application ** Free and Reduced-Price students will receive breakfast at no charge due to funding from the State of Georgia.

MyPaymentsPlus is the resource for student meal accounts and accessing options to review and pay for school activities. This free online service allows you to check your child’s account balance, receive low-balance emails, and monitor your child’s lunchroom purchases. Paying for school meals, fees, and GES activities online is convenient and simple, whether using the MyPaymentsPlus App or website.
